HYDROCOLLOID DRESSING

• Made up of a matrix of cellulose and other gel-forming agents such as gelatin and pectin . It is an occlusive dressing that helps maintain a moist wound healing environment.

FOAM DRESSING

• Highly absorbent dressings made from hydrophilic polyurethane foam. The dressing can be supplied with adhesive border around the foam.

THIN FILM DRESSING

• Transparent thin film dressings are semi-permeable membranes that are waterproof, yet allow oxygen and water vapor to pass through. A pad, foam or hydrocolloid island can be placed in the dressing with one hand or two hand application designs.

BORDERED GAUZE DRESSINGS

• Are an absorbent pad surrounded by an adhesive border. Various sizes and shapes are available.

WOUND CLOSURE STRIPS

• Are a primary wound dressing that are used to help close a surgical wound. Various materials and sizes are available.
  

MONTGOMERY STRAPS

• Adhesive straps affixed to the skin arranged opposite to each other so that gauze straps can be placed between holes of each end of the middle of the paired tapes. This provides a method of securing a bandage and subsequently changing it without having to replace the tape each time.
