History

Advanced Labelworx, Inc. (“ALI”) was formed in 1998 upon the merger of Tag & Label Corporation (“TLC”) and Tennessee Tape & Label Corporation (“TTL”). Both companies were founded independently in the late 1960’s, however despite being created separately they both specialized in providing technical solutions in the durable product markets. These twin companies “separated at birth” joined forces and continued to focus on and maintain their goals operating as one functional unit yet keeping near their respective locations of operation in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Anderson, South Carolina. Originally operating in Knoxville, Tag & Label Corporation consolidated its three divisions into one single location around 10 miles away into what is now the Advanced Labelworx Headquarters in Oak Ridge.

After the merger ALI has continued to operate with everyday focus on technical engineering support & innovative solutions, while striving to exceed customer expectations. Throughout its over 50 years of collective operation Advanced Labelworx has thrived on a business model of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, excellent customer service, and technical expertise.
