UL Authorized Label Suppliers Program (PGAA)
Advanced Labelworx is approved to print UL certified labels under UL’s Authorized Label Suppliers Program. This means we are authorized to print the UL mark and that our labels meet all of UL’s compliance requirements.
Not all label suppliers are authorized by UL to print labels with the UL Mark. Advanced Labelworx has over 300+ UL Listings and has maintained a UL program for 50+ Years. Our UL Listings can be found under the following listings:

Many of ALI’s label materials and constructions have been tested in accordance with UL 969, “Marking & Labeling Systems”. This gives our customers a high level assurance that the label will adhere permanently to their product for an extended period of time and be resistant to a wide variety of conditions such as: humidity/water, varying temperature requirements, sunlight, chemicals and other varying environmental conditions.
Types of Recognized Component Labels
PGDQ2 Marking and Labeling Systems
This type of UL recognized component labels would be printed at our facility and shipped to you. No additional printing would be added to these labels.
PGJI2 Marking and Labeling Systems – Printing Materials
This type of UL recognized component labels receive additional printing by the end user via thermal transfer ribbon. ALI also sells the corresponding thermal transfer ribbons required to be UL compliant, as well as thermal transfer printers.
Combination Labels
This occurs when the UL Certification Mark is also printed on a Recognized Component Label. Combination Labels contain printed safety-related information, other information, and the UL Certification Mark.
